My very first Virginia Lanier read. She is a southern writer, with a very independent personality, coming from the abuse of a man, as usual, well, just kidding, I'm not bitter, or, can relate, or anything like that........anyway, she is funny, in a Southern way. If you are Southern you will like her, If you are not, well, gee I don't know, some of my Northern friends find my wit appalling, others think I am the cats meow,so, a matter of taste, I'm sure.
