The surprises that Sharon Short puts into these books is astounding. Something you think is all set with a character or problem - all of a sudden changes! The back-drop of this book is a Psychic Fair that is to take place in Paradise. It becomes crystal (ha ha) immediately, that some of the folks attending this fair should have looked a little closer into their tarot cards before agreeing to come to Paradise. This book is well-written, humerous, a great clean cozy mystery. Highly recommended!

I loved book one and two. I want my cozy books to be cozy. I didnt care for the theme of this one. It was too heavy, it took me 3 days to finish it and that is along time for me. But you cant skip the book, you will want to read it to get to book 4. Just dont feel bad if you dont like it all that much. I am all for authors growing and improving on their skills but again she just moved from cozy to trying to make a statement and it got kinda preachy. I just dont think a cozy should tell me how to think, feel or believe.
