A moderately entertaining cozy mystery, but the plot is a little loose and the character development is weak. I made it to the end, but I'm not particularly interested in reading more in the series. The Christian references are infrequent but rather random.

I didn't even finish this book. The references to church and god were plentiful. The writing was boring. Very forced. Not a good read in my opinion.

I'm surprised by all of the negative reviews of this book on here. Hmmm...
I thought it was a really good book. I loved the plot and the characters. Some of the sideline plots were included a bit too much and since I'm not very religious, I wasn't thrilled with so much mention of being a Christian, but I was eager to find out what was going on and who had done what? Clever tie in to the garage sale theme and I loved the ending. I am definitely going to read the second in the series, going to order it right now in fact.

As a first book in a series I thought this was quite good. I am currently almost done with the second book, and it is even better than this one. Friends getting together for garage sale and bargain hunting, as well as supporting each other through issues they have. And they even had time to solve a murder! I really like the characters, and felt they were reasonably well developed for the first novel. Plus, it was just great fun to read!

I only read about 70 pages into this book but was not pleased with how the book was written. The story was very choppy, the characters seemed here, there, and everywhere, and kept bouncing back and forth constantly. I also did not like the portrayal of police officers. How anyone could ignore a crime like what is described in the book well, it pretty much gives away who done it, so right off the bat the book is kinda meh. Just not a great series in my opinion.

This was so totally NOT what I expected and was a wonderful full-fledged mystery! I was expecting some sort of cozy type read and this was just a wonderful, well-written, well-plotted, delightful characters (who often made me smile and chuckle) solving a murder mystery! GREAT READ!!!! Cant wait to get my hands on the others in this series!

What could Ginger the baby boomer, Kindra the college student, Suzanne the pregnant mother of 3, & Mary Margret the silver-haired real estate agent hpssibly have in common? Who would've guessed...a passion for garage sales! Pretty good read.

I have enjoyed the series as "light reading" material with some fun twists and turns. I have to admit I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

This was one of the worst books that I have started in recent memory. The writing is choppy and characters just are not believable. I barely managed 2 chapters before I tossed the book down . . . will not be reading anymore of the series.
