I was pleasantly surprised that I really liked this novel. It's not what I normally read, but I just couldn't put it down. The meat of the story is hung on a historical skeleton that I knew little about even though I'm sure it was covered many years ago in history classes. There's plenty of action and intrigue to please the mystery lover.
