Carolyn Hart's books are always suspensful. I like the Henrie O series somewhat better than the Annie Darling ones but have read all of both.
Henrie O is teaching journalism at Thorndyke. One of her students wants to turn in a paper on 3 unsolved murders. Henrie won't accept the paper unless the student finds new facts. The student turns up dead and now Henrie O must find out what the student learned that got her murdered.

This is from Hart's Henrie O series. I love this series. Henrie O is a journalist working as a professor at a small university. She works through her own romanitc issues in this book while solving three "cold cases" and one current murder. Good reading.

Found this series several months ago and have read all seven books. Did like them a lot; they're an easy read and you want to find out what happens next. This one I specially liked since it was set in the Missouri Ozarks at a small college there. I especially like Henrie O's dialog, very realistic for someone her age. I recommend the whole series.
