I really like these reprinted British Golden Age Mystery novels. John Bude is especially good and I hope there are more of his books issued. This time British policeman Meredith is sent with a younger partner to investigate counterfeit money being distributed in the Riviera area. They run into more than counterfeiters as smugglers, con men, and murderers cloud the investigation. Wonderful mystery.
