Jaine has been hired by über-pushy stage mom Heather Van Sant to write lyrics for her daughter Taylor’s song in the talent competition for the Miss Teen Queen America pageant. I think I've finally had my fill of "Jaine Austen." The first few books were light, easy, fun reads but by #13 it's just the same rehashed plots, stupid asides with the cat and tedious emails from Jaine's parents. Gave up after about 3 chapters.
