Enjoyed this light mystery by Jocelyn Shore, reminds me of Elizabeth Peter's style of mysteries.
Decent book- many questions about the various members of the tour that need to be answered and good descriptions of the Egyptian sites they visited. That said, I figured out what was going on VERY early on so there was not much of a surprise at the end. I will likely give the next book in this series a try to see how it is.
Jocelyn Shore, a high school history teacher, and her cousin Kyla are on a tour of a lifetime....To Egypt....Milllie Owens, a nosy member of the tour falls to her death....It is discovered that she did not die from the fall, but was stabbed...Jocelyn discovers Millie's carry o bag on the bus filled with stolen items from various members of the group, and a notebook containing entries written on several members of the tour....was this the reason for her murder? The tour continues and several folks on the tour begin to exhibit odd, suspicious behaviors....too mny people are trying to lure Jocelyn away from the group...Why? ....Then there is another murder...and Jocelyn is attacked..could it have been the mysterious and handsome Allan Stratton or someone else on the tour?....I really enjoyed this book and will be reading the next one in the series...also enjoyed the descriptions of the famous site of Egypt....
