After the mystery has been solved, all the people who were involved in solving it gather at Jessie Arnold's cabin, and they take turns describing what their part of the action was, what they knew, and how they found it out. This is a little different way to tell a mystery, and it is an entertaining and interesting book to read.

This book kept me interested until the last page. It's not as intense as a Patterson novel (i.e., Kiss the Girls), with just enough suspense to keep the reader interested in knowing who did what. Enjoyed the cast of characters ... sometimes reminded me of Mitford Gone Mysterious.

The writing style of this book was different. It was done in a historical style where the present is a gathering of people who are sharing recollections of what happened. I didn't like that style as well as the first-person, real-time style.
