Francis Pettigrew and his wife Eleanor return. Pettigrew has retired and moved to the village of Yew Hill-and the village personalities provide he and his sophisticated wife with gentle entertainment-until the murder.

I really enjoyed this one. I'm a Cyril Hare fan but this was particularly good. Intricate plotting & subtle humor & believable characters.
