This book is one of the best I've read with action, blood, back (and front)stabbing, vicious aristocrats and a ruler you'd swear had both Hitler and Stalin for fathers. There are interesting, well developed characters who capture your interest quickly. I just finished #2 and am hot on the trail of the rest. L8r,Catmint

Good characters, good story. Lots of action.

This is a great book. If you like Space Opera with a very modern sensibility, humor, action and interesting characters, this is the book for you. Best in the series.

If you are at all familiar with Simon R Green's writing style, you will definetley recognize it in this book. However, it is a fabulously written book, with fast paced motion and and interesting concept. I fully reccomend it!
