I never read a book with more sex than this one. I think for the first 192 pages it was nothing but pure sex! You may need to take a cold shower after reading this book.
This is a well written book, by a talented author. The strength of this book are the characterizations; very well done. The plot is menage, the main characters are well drawn and likable.
**Spoiler Alert** Just when I got all attached to the menage and appears to be working for everybody, the author totally chickened out...tossed somebody out of the menage (which she spent the entire book building), and ends it a traditional m/f white picket fence HEA. This is the biggest reason I'm unsure about reading this author again.

Whew! Anyone reading this book better bring a cooling fan, it is HOT, HOT, HOT! Definitely not for the faint of heart. If you are ready to face that hidden fantasy of two men, you are in for a very passionate ride. I fell for Deke in the first book Wicked Ties, and I still like him. Kimber is an independent smart strong character who is easily likable. It's a complicated story, issues and baggage for everyone, but Black writes another winner. My only complaint is that I feel the ending, the final scene, was a little sappy and weak. But it was probably hard to top the intensity that was present in the entire book. That aside, I enjoyed every word. Black's characters are great and I can't wait to read Luc's story.

I'm not sure what the best way is for me to talk about this book. I'm no prude--I read romance and erotica, and I like my fair share of both--but I found myself practically laughing throughout this book. There was just something about the main female character, Kimber, that was so unattractively damsel-in-distress-ish that I didn't care at all what happened to her. The two males, Luc and Deke, I found to be too similar and unrealistically MALE. Fine enough if you like wish fulfillment and dream-come-true romantic endings, but I was ambivalent at the end of this.

i was VERY impressed with this book. I couldn't put it down once i started it. This was the first time i had read anything by this author and i liked it, I will be reading more from her. the Middle part of the book lost me for a bit then i kept on reading.
