What a wonderful book of stories to help you get in the mood for the holidays!! I was particularly anxious to read it because of the well-known authors for the stories (Fern Michaels, Linda Lael Miller and Lisa Jackson). They did not disappoint.

Fern Michaels' story is "Merry, Merry." It's a cute story about a struggling female vet and a cosmetic mogul who desperately wants to buy her property.

Lisa Jackson contributed "A Baby for Christmas." A baby is left on her doorstep and seems to be a godsend to this female who has longed to have children. However, the father shows up soon afterwards and things get complicated.

"The 24 Days of Christmas" is by Linda Lael Miller. This shows how the tradition of the advent calendar that once brought a young boy and girl together, help them to reunite 20 some years later, and helps ignite the friendship of their two children.

Virginia Henley wrote "Christmas Eve." It's about a single career woman who is a powerhouse in the real estate office, but practically engaged to a guy who manages to be politically correct most of the time and pretty mild and timid. She meets her match when fire captain macho man decides to view some lakefront property with her and the two of them are snowed in together. The sparks really fly...and not just from the fireplace!

"A Misty Harbor Christmas" was written by Marcia Evanick. It's about a California gal that heads back to Maine in order to dispose of her grandmother's estate. While there, the hottie that she had a crush on 10 years ago comes to pay his respects. And, things begin to heat up in this story, too.

I really enjoyed the plots, characters and Christmas themes of these stories. Definitely and worthwhile read!

"MERRY, MERRY by Fern Michaels".If cosmetic king Peter King thinks he's going to buy struggling veteriarian Andi Evans's family property out from under her, he's got another thing coming. This Christmas, she's ready for war or would that be love?

Also in this book, A BABY FOR CHIRISTMAS by Lisa Jackson, THE 24 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS by Linda Lael Miller, CHIRISTMAS EVE by Virginia Henley and A MISTY HARBOR CHRISTMAS by Marcia Evanick. This is a must read.
