This is a beautiful, beautiful book. Whatever type of tableware you might have, the authors will show you how to use it to its best advantage. Personally I like white, preferably ironstone. I also have a lovely small collection of crystal. In just one sitdown with this book, I had ideas galore on how best to display my tableware as well as giving it a practical use. My crystal has been highlighted also and stands out so nicely.
The only reason I'm parting with this book is because I received a gift copy of it. I really don't need two. The chapters include "the art of the table," "display" "storage and care," "using china and glass around the home," and a china and glass directory, as well as many other ideas and suggestions that are very helpful.
