Good book, second in the Solomon and Lord series. Lord decides to leave the firm and defend her "uncle" on her own. Solomon is busy defending himself against someone who wants him dead, and trying to get his father reinstated to the bar. Not as much fun as the first one, but still worth reading. Especially funny is Solomon's description of a "Smart" car, typically seen in Europe.

If you've read Carl Hiaasen, you'll enjoy this book. It has enough intrigue for most, and is witty as well. Great read.

A fun little caper, thick with offbeat humor.

The Solomon vs Lord series is very light and an easy read.
It reminds me of Moonlighting where there is a love-hate relationship between the main characters.
It can be repetitive when you read the whole series.
It is definitely a Beach book.
