This is a well written account of what it is like to be an undercover agent. The author doesn't waste alot of time on characterizations or background, he just keeps the excitement in the present and gives you enough detail so you can actually "learn" something about this dark and risky lifestyle. The dialogue between the agents is quick, clean, and intelligent. Donnie's dialogue and interactions with the various residents of the Florida Everglades emphasizes his quick wit and humor.
