This is the best mystery that I have read in quite a while. Barbara Holloway has become a favorite character now. She is competent and a downright real person, someone you would like to have for a friend. If you are looking for a great summer beach book, this is the one. You will not be able to put it down and when it is over you wish it had gone on longer.

A courtroom drama, a pleasure to read
This is a very suspense-filled book and everyone that's borrowed it has really enjoyed it!
A wife is suspected of shooting her husband and a female attorney takes the case which may be an innocent client with no defence.
Barbara Holloway has a reputation for taking on difficult cases and winning. But in every previous case, there's been some fragment on which to build and argument. This time, she may have taken on a case with no defense at all.
I ordered this book for a friend of mine. She really likes this author and enjoys her writing.
Classic Wilhelm. A great read!!!
