This book is the first Historical Romance I had ever read and it got me hooked onto Historical Romance books ever since. Kit prate's writing is superb. The characters, Rachael Samuels and Gray Montgomery, were just fabulous. The pair were a match made in heaven. The beginning of the book surprised me when Rachael discovered she was pregnant. She was unmarried and in 1848 that was unheard of. You will love this book, trust me. It is an absolute page turner. I just couldn't put it down. Kit Prate is an extremely talented writer.
