I love dog mysteries. Here's a new-to-me series that is quite decent. It's not a scary or suspenseful ride, but not a bad read at all.

I enjoy this series because it is relaxing. I must warn you, though, that it is very easy to guess the murderer, and you have to have patience when there is an enormous clue that is ignored until later in the book (not in the book, but the sort of thing I mean-I wonder why there is a bloody fingerprint on that doorknob, Watson. Think it means anything) That said, I am happily reading my way through the whole series- so peleased to see the characters and so relaxing to know way ahead of them who did it?

Book 4 in the Pet Detective series staring Delilah Doolittle and her astute Doberman pinscher named Watson.There is the usually cast of characters along with new ones. This time the case involves a bird smuggling ring. I really enjoy this series. It is good fun and a great read.
