Should have paid attention to the reviews. I read the first book in the series and wasn't highly impressed with it, but plugged on to finish, and got the second one to see if things had improved. They didn't. It was worse. Writing, spelling, and grammar sucked. Plus, all those characters introduced in the first book were back, with no short reminders to their background and purpose. It had been several months since I'd read the first book, and so, I was lost. It got quite irritating after I'd read about a fourth of the book, so I gave up.
This book is about demons and the ancient trident that give Gabriel awesome powers. This college kid finds his true destiny is a warrior knight to battle against the darkness of demons. If you like action and demons you'll love this book.
