While writing a book about her deceased stunt man husband. Kirsten Rumm will also have to play host to a arrogant bad-boy actor starring in a film about her her deceased husband.
An excellent read, Sandra Brown knows how to write a romance novel!

It was the publicity stunt from hell as far as Kirsten Rumm was Concerned. But for the good of her book, she agreed to share her beachfront home with the impossibly sexy bad- boy actor starring the film version of her story. Any other woman would die to be in her sandals, but Kristen wasn't falling for Rylan North. Seducing an audience was his job. So why was he so desperately pretending to want her?

From the moment they met, Rylan knew that Kristen would be the star fo his real life love story. He was determined to discover what tragedy held this passionate woman back for a second chance at love even if it cost him his career-and his life. But first he'd have to get Kirsten to act on her insyincts... and to trust in the flesh-and-blood man behind the fantasy.

I was totally disappointed in this Sandra Brown book. Not her normal thriller. If I wanted a love story, I would read a Harlequinn Romance book... No thanks. Two thumbs down on this one! I'm sorry I even finished it.

An enjoyable quick sexy read. Typical romance, no surprises in either characters or story line. I would read more Sandra Brown, just not sure if I'd pay $7.99 the suggested retail.

When Rylan North flashes Kirsten Rumm his heart-stopping smile, she knows she can't refuse him...even if letting the actor share her home for a week will force her to relive the last terrible days before her stunt pilot husband fell prey to his own daring acts. But before Rylan immerses himself in Kirsten's world, he must exorcise the explosive secrets that haunt her dreams...and gamble she'll find the courage in his arms to risk loving again...

Kirsten Rumm has to share her home with a sexy, bad-boy actor who will star in the film version of her novel. He wants her but she is reluctant.

This was a good redo of a 1987 story she wrote. Famous actor meets widow of movies main character. But that doesn't give you the idea of how well she writes about the characters motivations.......it is a tad dated, but a very enjoyable read. Read and pass it on!

Actor is trying to "get into" a character by staying in the man's home with his widow.

I fell for the hero, and I'm not usually fond of Hollywood heroes. This one stands up to its age pretty well and is one of my favorite Sandra Brown "oldies."

Kirsten Rumm has written a biography of her late husband Charlie "Demon" Rumm. Now a Hollywood movie is being made from her book and actor Rylan North has been picked to portray Demon. To get into character, Rylan asks to move in with Kirsten to immerse himself in the role. Against her better judgement she agrees. Soon Rylan has fallen for Kirsten and must convince her to take a second chance on love.

This is an older Sandra Brown contemporary romance. I didn't care for this story. I thought most of the dialogue felt like an interrogation with Rylan asking Kirsten what Demon said in this situation, or how Demon reacted to something else. I don't know how Rylan and Kirsten fell in love. The characters never really got to know each other. By the end of the book, it was almost like her former husband was a big part of their relationship and they were just acquaintances. My rating: 2 Stars.

I remember really loving this book when I first started reading Sandra Brown in the early 90's. I picked this up again by mistake and remembered having read it already. I am not as interested in romance fiction as I used to be but if you like them, of course you'll like this one!

It was a publicity stunt from hell as far as Kirsten Rumm was concerned. She may have been writing the book about her late husband aeronautical daredevil Demon Rumm, but she didn't see the need to play host to the arrogant bad boy actor starring in the film version's titlerole. Still, for the good of the project, Kirsten agreed to share her beachfront home with the impossibly sexy screen idol.
