Don't judge this book on the dorky cover or goofy title- this book is awesome! I loved the main character, she juggles her toddler son and teenage daughter, along with her husband's new political career while ALSO dealing with demons! She was trained by the Vatican to do battle against the forces of evil, and even though she technically "retired" she got back in the game to protect her family. This book was hilarious and action-packed, and the relationships with the family (not to mention the friendships) were fantastic. The way the teenage daughter was written was incredibly realistic, and the small boy is HILARIOUS and acts his age. If you enjoy fun, funny, fast-paced reads with a little paranormal action and romance thrown in- this book will not dissapoint!

Not quite as good as the second in the series, but still a good book. Elements of the plot feel kind of dragged out, and as always, there is just not enough of Cutter to satisfy me! Does leave me waiting for the 4th book in the series, great job on fleshing out the character of her daughter.

This book would appeal to folks that have teenage daughters and fantasies about handsome former husbands and amazing secret jobs while under the guise of a normal suburban housewife life. I ended up skimming most of the book - the daughter plot was not interesting to me, or the plot regarding current husband/handsome other guy tensions. The demon hunting itself had some interesting moments. If you are a soccer mom, this book is geared towards you, otherwise I advise you to steer clear.

This series keeps getting better and better! Lots of intense action as Kate deals with telling Allie the truth about her demon hunting and keeping Stuart in the dark and facing some hard truths about David and Eric.
Can't wait for the next installment!
