One of the BEST suspense books I have ever read!!! Full of excitement and great details. I found this book and read it in two hours. I don't think I stopped to blink!! Non stop action and drama. Unfortunately I read this on a Saturday morning and then realized it had a sequel~ Locked Doors. (a MUST read!!) I had to wait until my library opened Monday morning so I could race there and get it!! The only bad thing about this is he is a newer author and only had the two books out with one on the way. A continuation I believe. I prefer to read well established authors so I have a list of 10, 15, 20 or more books I can read that are already out there waiting to be discovered. Waiting on new releases is HARD!! Anyway this is a GREAT book I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a good read that will go fast.

This book scared the hell out of me! Very graphic, gory and completely sick and twisted. Horror at it's best! Highly recommended if you like books that make you need to sleep with the light on for a night or two.

On a tranquil May evening in North Carolina, semi-famous novelist Andrew Thomas strools down his long gravel drive to check his mailbox: Inside is a note: Greeting There is a body burried on your property covered in your blood. The unfortunate young lady's name is Rita Jones. In her jeans pocket you'll find a slip of paper with a phone number on it. If I have not heard from you by 8PM tomorrow, the police department will receive an anonymous phone call.

This is truly a very good book if you can get through part 1, it is terrifying and very graphic but you won't be able to put it down, then it gets into the next part of retaliation of what happened--in other words--DON'T MISS THIS ONE!

I was very impressed by the debut of this author. I am a big horror fan and really like Koontz and Bentley Little. I was not disapointed, this book had it all. This book had suspense from page one and did not let up until the end. This book is highly recommended and guaranteed to keep you up at night (with the light on of course). I am currently reading the sequel to this (locked doors) and looking good so far.

Andy is a popular author who receives a note about a dead body on his property covered in his DNA & location of the murder weapon. He is to contact no one. The blackmailer kidnaps Andy & the nightmare begins. To Andy's surprise he knows the cunning killer who takes him on a psychotic journey of murder, mayhem, & enlightenment. Pretty gory detailed book with lots of stabby stabby bloody murder.
