Time-Life books are terrific. Garden design is largely a matter oforganizing space. Each part of a garden seves a distinct purpose. This book breaks down each part and makes it easy to understand how to put together a yard, putting in shrubs, trees, bulbs, hedges raised beds and much more information. Beautiful full color pictures of many of the plants discribed. Excellent book.
