This is a dark book that deals in depth with the after effects of a rape victim. There are nightmares, memories and flashbacks. This is not a story for the faint of heart. I also wondered why the heroine kept referring to the man as a serial rapist when there were apparently no one else abducted/raped by him until the end of the book. It was an OK romantic suspense book with a few holes. It is definitely not the sort of book you want to read over and over.

Contemporary erotic suspense by Brenda Williamson. Kacy still suffers emotionally from having been kidnapped and assaulted. She is suspicious of strange men, feels that she's being watched, and suffers from panic attacks and nightmares. Some of her friends think she's nuts. Then, Gulliver moves in, across the street. Kacy is instantly attracted to him, a first since her ordeal. But, Gulliver is hiding something. I enjoyed this book. I was actually wrong, in who I originally thought was the Bad Guy. I enjoyed this book. Gulliver is a real hero, and had infinate patience and confidence in Kacy. Good book.
