I had lots of fun reading this book. There was a great story, lots of action, and wonderful characters. It didn't quite live up to the first book but I think that was just me. I really didn't bond as well with our main character, Aaslo. His attitude kind of got on my nerves. While I know it was part of the dragon in him, it doesn't help my irritation. He constantly got short-tempered with everything and everyone it seemed like. Now, on the other hand, Dolt was superb. I just love that horse!
Looking forward to the next book in this series!
