A must read for gourmands out there. A great biography of a ground breaking chef. An explosive personality who was a maverick in changing the restaurant business. It was a riveting read!

A fascinating book! Marco covers his life from when he was a child growing up in Leeds to 1999, when he decides to retire from the kitchen after reaching the pinnacle of his career. It's written in an easy style full of colorful detail that makes it a fun read. Enjoyed every minute of it and often read late into the night. It's a definite keeper!
