I love the Malloren books, and I did enjoy this 5th book in the series. I must say, though that I was somewhat disappointed in it ... perhaps because I had really been looking forward to Rothgar's story and it didn't live up to my expectations. Still, Jo Beverley is a wonderful author and I've never read a book of hers that I didn't like!

Fifth in the series of Mallorens...I was glad that she didn't make "Bey" a sappy mess at the end, he was able to retain his dignity and no blubbering crying nonsense. I also loved the heroine, Diana, strong, witty and independant, no sniveling miss here. It was a great pairing. I liked how they were equal in almost all things. Overall, I did like this book. So far book 3 and this one are my favorites. Moving on to book 6..

I read this before I started the series. I didn't get the attraction for each other. They are older and have everything they want. Then they find each other.

I just finished reading this book for the second time (which is very unusual for me) This is such a good book. This is the last of the series of "Malloren" books and it is the story of the oldest brother (and patriarch of the family) the Marquess of Rothgar.

I'm new to Jo Beverley and the Malloren series, but I have to say "Devilish" was the very best so far. The story of Rothgar and Diana held true to their personas from the previous books and the history of Georgian England. A beautiful, sensual love story.
