THis is an excellent book for anyone who wants to get a hold on diabetes for themselves or others. Definitely not a dummies book, in my opinion, just plain, straight talk with no "doctor-eez" language.

Great for the newly diagnosed. I would also reccomend as a companion book to other books about diabetes especially from the Amercian Diabetes Society. Also great for those that have to live with someone who has diabetes Type 1 or Type 2.
