My son read this book in two days. For a reluctant reader such as himself, this was quite an accomplishment! The book is hilariously funny, and with the combination of writing and cartoons it's sure to be a hit -- especially with boys.

Okay, for starters, this book is funny and a very amusing read. But that didn't keep me from throwing it in the trash. I ordered this book for my second grader, but once she alerted me of its less-than-honorable language and conduct, I read it myself. I assumed (whoops) that since all the little kids were reading it, it'd be harmless. And to some, or many, it is. But I'm working my tail off to raise pure, honorable, sincere, honest kids, and this book would certainly undermine that! The hero of our tale lies regularly and looks to deceive grownups and parents as a matter of habit with no twinge of conscience. Name-calling and judging of other kids happen continually. Sneaky disobedience and manipulative apologies abound. Maybe to many in our culture, that is adorable. To me, it lowers the bar and normalizes base, vile, and worthless behavior. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. We will aim high, and we will try to order our conduct with honesty, integrity, and respect for all people. I'm such a prude! Too bad this talented author wastes his very witty writing in a book that gives the young reader nothing to aspire to. Oh well.

This book was unexpectedly hilarious. I was waiting for my wife to get ready to go out to eat and picked it up to read a few pages. Next thing I know I'm 80 pages in and laughing uncontrollably. I loved this book. The artwork and humor is fantastic. It's a quick, light read that will have you chuckling throughout. I finished it the next day.

My kids LOVE this book. I couldn't get into it, but if they can read it to themselves, it is really fun. Both boys read whole series and won't part with them.
This isn't a bad series, but I suggest reading the online version that it is based on. The online version is less censored, has more interesting and funnier plotlines, and is generally better. Go to http://www.funbrain.com/journal/Journal.html?ThisJournalDay=1&ThisPage=1 for it.
My son loves this book!

So by my calculations, Gregory is just turning 21, and not famous yet, unless he is working on the Trump campaign.
