Could be my favorite book in the series

Lucy finally tells her story!

You'll LOVE the characters as always and I think you'll enoy this book!

Jack Culver, former Bullet Catcher and current investigator, has been working on Eileen Stafford's case for years. He is convinced that she is innocent of the crime that put her in jail. Lucy Sharpe, owner of The Bullet Catchers, is seduced into helping Jack prove that Justice Higgins actually committed the crime in question. Thus starts a roller coaster ride of suspense and murder attempts that end in a rather surprising manner. You'll be shocked when the real criminal is unveiled. A terrific conclusion to the series with wonderful characters and an interesting courtship between Jack and Lucy.

Private Investigator Jack Culver has been trying to prove that a woman imprisoned for thirty years was wrongly convicted of murder. To make this happen, Jack needs the help of Lucy Sharpe. Lucy is the owner of Bullet Catchers, an elite group of personal protection specialists. She is also Jack's former boss and former lover. Jack and Lucy quickly pinpoint their suspect. Now they have to prove that this well-connected man is the real killer.

This is the last book in the mini-trilogy in the Bullet Catchers series. I liked the mystery in this story. There were a few twists and surprises that I didn't see coming. The romance between Jack and Lucy just didn't work for me. We really didn't get in their heads to know their feelings about each other. Lucy seemed like a very cold person. I never did warm up to her. My rating: 3.5 Stars.
