I liked Unger's previous books, and I tried and tried to get into this one, but this story line did nothing for me...I couldn't finish it.
Helpful Score: 2
I've read and enjoyed most of Ms. Unger's other books, but this is my least favorite. Implausible and with too many subplots and unrealistic characters, I hope her next effort is better than this one.
I am really enjoying Lisa Unger, I just wish she could crank out books even faster!
This story kept you guessing, and entertained.

I thought this book was really fast paced and put another layer to "woman scorned" scenario. It's a thriller, not really a "who done it", but the story moved and you stayed interested to understand the "why". Part of the setting is in Prague which certainly sounds like a fairy tale city that is now on my places to go list. First one of Unger's books I've read and I will certainly read something of hers again.
Unger's novels always contain many plot twists and turns, and Die for You was no exception. She takes you for a ride, and it doesn't end until 4 am no matter how tired you are! I actually didn't enjoy the main character's narrative nearly as much as the other voices in the novel. If you have liked other books by this author, you will enjoy Die for You.
Great story with lots of twists.
Wow!! What a read! It hooked me in from the 1st page and I stayed up until midnight reading it straight through. Could not put it down. Many twists and turns. Sometimes, I did have to go back and read the page or paragraph a second time.. just to absorb some of the twists.
Not my favorite Lisa Unger book though I do really like this one. A woman searches for her husband and finds out he is not who she thought he was. Fast paced, where the protagonist discovers secrets about her husband who went missing. She will come face to face with terrible lies and learn some disturbing truths about her so called good life. Very suspenseful as is all her writing I've read.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book -- couldn't put it down from the very first page. The story seamlessly flows from one chapter to the next, giving you in-depth perspectives of the main characters.
Very original story. Easy read.
