This book had many twists and turns that were totally unexpected. The serial kiler was a lady who was a professionl with a degree, and no much as a speeding ticket on her criminal record. AS the almostn professional shopper, she found ways to spend like a milionare. What held my fascination the most about this book is that a great deal of intimate details of the killer made her real as if she was sitting right beside you; this ss something that is lacking in most true crime books.

Well written and interesting, this book kind of jerks back and forth. But it makes sense because the killer is one of those selfish, sociopathic, weird birds whose life has no continuity or underlying beliefs. She just does whatever makes her feel good at the moment. The book is derived mainly from the experiences of one detective who was not very seasoned - but was very thorough and faithful in identifying this person using the training he had available. It's surprising he could build such strong rapport with those he interviewed that someone close to her gave the killer up to him! I really loved the way the rhythm of the story matched the illogical, impulsive way the killer jumped out at her victims. A very good read I think.

The author did a great job of getting background on all the major characters in the book and told the story in a compelling way.

A female serial killer is rare. This is the true story of Dana Sue Gray ~ she was an unemployed nurse who preyed on elderly women and then went on a shopping spree with their credit cards.

This story is told extremely well. This is a great story, especially for a true crime fan.

This serial killer was an Rn that preyed on elderly women, violently killed them, then used their credit cards to embark on a wild, post murder spending sprees. This book holds your interest and allows you to go into the mind of a serial killer.

Impeccably dressed, meticulously neat, Dana Sue Gray spared no expense on herself. Dropping thousands of dollars on a shopping binge or a luxurious day spa was nothing out of the ordinary for Dana-nor for many wealthy women. But Dana wasn't wealthy-she was an unemployed nurse. She was also a serial murderess, who preyed upon elderly women, violently killed them, then used their credit cards to embark on wild, post-murder spending sprees. Women serial killers are rare-there are only 36 documented cases-and those, like Dana Sue Gray, who murder so brutally that veteran police officers are shaken by the bloodiness of the crime scene, are even rarer.

This book would have been a good book had it not started bass-acwards .... the end of the book should have been the first of the book .... nobody knew WHO Dana Gray was until near the end .... also, the writer spent far too much time on describing dectective Grecco's career, which really didn't have anything to do with the premise of the book, Dana Gray and why she did what she did.

If one can go towards the end of the book to find out WHO Dana Gray was and why she committed these murders (that were described in the first of the book) it would make a whole lot more sense.

To me, the worst a writer can do is waste words (Grecco) and not put together a book in the timely manner of events. It could have been a good book had the author done the above.

I don't usually read True Crime, BUT, did indeed read this book...It is unsettling, how full of the Devil this girl is.. to kill multiple times to finance such selfish
things like manicures/pedicures, and new expensive tennis shoes..this book is truly suspenseful, it is hard to lay this book down, it is THAT good a read. Not that murdering old helpless ladies can be described as good)
