I am giving this only 2* because I think the writing is poor, the storyline is okay but not told very well, it is draggy in so many places it just gets boring

This is listed as a thriller-but I didn't find it so thrilling. The only good point this book made was how ridiculous 'Facebook' island not just for kids.

This is my first book from author Alison Gaylin, but it won't be the last. I read it in less than one day, putting it down reluctantly in order to get a few hours' sleep. The small-town mystery is so relevant in this day and age. Throughout the story, a social media wildfire demonstrates how rumors and accusations can create a whirlwind that takes down even the innocent.

The characters in If I Die Tonight were plentiful, and sometimes made it hard to keep up with the rotation POVs. I was pretty sure I knew how the story would end, but really liked how the author came to that ending. If you're a fan of Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng or No One Ever Asked by Katie Ganshert, this book is for you.
