Wow, I knew rock stars lived fast and hard but I had no idea it was that crazy all the time! This is a great book, written by all the guys in the band and sometimes they recount the same stories and sometimes they don't. Great look at how these guys became who we see in the press and on TV.

This book is so good that I want to read it again! I am usually not much of a reader. I usually wait for the movie LOL! But this book was not only interesting but also exciting as well! They tell some really crazy and funny stories! If you are a music fan this is definately a must read book! If you are a Motley Crue Fan you will totally love this book!

Wow! I read Tommyland and Nikki Sixx's book (I don't recall the title at this point), and this was certainly the better read of the three, and the definitive authority on the tale of Motley Crue. You have to grudgingly respect their kind of of excess, and WOW, what a ride! It's a wonder any of them lived to tell the story. Fans of the band will love it. Non-fans, unlike Tommyland or Sixx's book, will probably also still enjoy (although non-fans needn't bother with the other two books.)

Very good book. Interesting at points, shocking in some and in others it was like listening to my kids fight and pout at each other.
Wanted to read it bad when it first came out and wasnt disappointed, glad I read it.

If you grew up going to Crue concerts than you will really enjoy this book. I felt like I needed to take a shower after reading this. Rowdy, loud and full of sex and drugs...one of the hardest partying bands around

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book. The lives of my one of my favorites bands ever. Very funny at some parts, grossed out at others, but great book none the less.

Compelling read, if you like the music and the band you'll probably like the book.
But the stories about treating women like napkins to be used and thrown away is pretty disgusting. And the drug use is just mind-blowing, makes you wonder how the four of them are still alive. The sequel will probably have Vince talk about his buffet experiences.
