I love everything by Michael Crichton and this book was no exception. This was his book about sexual harassment that was turned into a movie starring Demi Moore. As usual, the book is better than the movie in my opinion! A real page turner from beginning to end!

I picked this up in the Airport before a flight, and was half way through it before I realized I had seen the movie a few years earlier, heh.. It's very good. I actually enjoyed it a little more than the movie, and it drew me into the story more too.

A woman scorned is a formidable thing. Especially when she's your boss. This book gives men a taste of what women have been dealing with for centuries. The book is much more engrossing than the movie because of Chrichton's superb writing.

I like the characters. The story about sexual harassment was interestinng because a man was a victim. I have to say I thought Meredith is a crybaby.

Although this is a work of fiction, Crichton says it is based on a true story. Principals in the case agreed to be interviewed with the understanding their names not be revealed. It's a page-turner.

A much better book than many other Michael Crichton books. I usually find his endings to be sudden and contrived. Not as much with this one. A good entertaining read for the beach or rainy day.

If you loved the movie, you will love the book. However, the book is much more suspenseful.
Role reversal in a sexual harassment suit starts this story off with a bang, but the main female character's character is so weak that only the side plots kept me reading. Not Crichton's best.

A good read. If you want to know what sexual harassment is and how it is dealt with by the law, this story tells it. Takes place in a tech company, woman harasses her subordinate.
Very suspenseful, didn't want to put it down. Better than the movie that is named for it. Takes you into the world of high-tech.

I have tried to read this book on several occasions and each time, I give up. Just not my type of book.
Fast paced. Excellent view of corporate problems - Sexual harrassment, greed, power.
A turnaround story. Power is not always male and neither is sexual harrassment.

A good story but seem a little contrived. Even at that I enjoyed it very much, in fact I staid up late because I wanted to finish it before I went to bed.
