true sci fi great read. a mysterious new mental illness, scientists trying to replace einsteins theory, the countdown has begun for a disaster that will reach all the way back to the big bang and beyond.

Full of thought-provoking ideas, like all his books, but also has a stronger sense of narrative than some of the others. I got really into it by the second half and couldn't put it down. My favorite Egan book.
