Erotic Paranormal/Fantasy romance from Samhain Publishing. Talaith is a witch, living in a foreign land, married to a poor excuse for a husband. The whole village blames her for anything wrong in the village. When they decide to hang her, and burn her as a witch, she is saved by a silver dragon. The arrogant yet handsome Briec the Mighty saves her, and intends to keep her as long as she is amusing to him. But Talaith is in the service of a vicious, conniving Goddess and has no choice but to bend to the Goddess' will. This is a fantastic, funny, action-packed, erotic tale. Talaith and Briec fight, snipe, and generally infuriate each other. This is one of the best romances I've read in awhile. FYI, this series will be re-released by Kensington under the pseudonym G. A Aiken. The first book to be released will be Dragon Actually, which is Annlyn and Feurgus' story, in 9/08. This story, the Distessing Damsel will be re-released with the title About a Dragon in 12/08. Get on the lists for these as soon as you can. You won't be disappointed.

Same story, basically but fleshed out. Haven't been able to get another copy of Distressing Damsel so can't compare the page numbers. This is the next story after DRAGON ACTUALLY (2 novellas) that came out a few months ago. So if you can't find DD try About a Dragon.
The plot moves nicely and Talaith is a strong character, not meek or mild. Story moves a little slowly and you probably should read Dragon Actually to get a start on who all the players are. Sex scenes are hot, sometimes a little repetitive, but not enough to annoy. Looks like there will be a book for each of the dragon siblings and there is humor in the two books I've read so far-which is good. Battle scenes are fantasy cause if the individual fighting has no magic you'd think they'd get tired. All in all though a quick, fun read & I'll buy the next one when it comes out.
