Divorced, Beheaded, Survived: A Feminist Reinterpretation of the Wives of Henry VIII
Divorced Beheaded Survived A Feminist Reinterpretation of the Wives of Henry VIII
Author: Karen Lindsey
A fascinating, revisionist look at 16th century English politics (both public and private), examining the lives of Henry VIII's six wives as active personalities rather than merely as seductresses, unattractive hags, or ciphers.

Quick tour of the women of the Tudor Dynasty (Margaret Beaufort, Henry VIII's wives, and Queens Mary and Elizabeth) interpreting their lives and actions through a feminist lens. Anne Boleyn and Katherine Howard come off looking better than usual, while Henry VIII is (rather one-dimensionally) cast as the evil, egotistical oppressive male.

Interesting take, but if you are looking for a biography of Henry's wives I would recommend Alison Weir's or David Starkey's books instead.
