Loved the book! It's a great combination of "Amish" and "medical" stories rolled into one. Naturally, it has a feel-goodness about it, too. Alot of research went into this book as alot of what was written, from a medical standpoint, is quite factual. Definitely worth your time to read it.

This is book 2 of 5 this author has written about the Amish. She is a new writer and has only written these 5 books, but these are the best Amish books that I have read ever, better than Wanda Brunsetter.
The Amish community's only doctor is badly injured in a car accident.His doctor grandson takes his place and falls in love with the certified nurse midwife. The amish always marry within their own community and the new doctor is shocked at all the birth defects and he reconsiders his vocation.
Many of the characters in book 1 are in this book. The author has done her research well. I highly recommend all 5 of her books.
