This book is a classic example of chick lit. It's funny and cute. A good one to snuggle under the covers and read on a rainy day!

I enjoyed the story and the coming of age. The fact that Liv finds Ben was a bit of a stretch, but other than that, reallly enjoyable. Great summer read, and it did make me want to head off to Australia and learn to surf.

A funny story of an English girl recovering from a breakup with her boyfriend. She is offered a house in Australia where she runs into an old flame. Fun to read.

I tried...I mean I REALLY tried to get into this book. Unfortunately, each chapter was as predictable as the one preceeding. And it wasn't just the British humor I didn't seem to connect with because I have read many other books by British authors and enjoyed many laugh-out-loud moments. Sorry Ms. Naylor, just wasn't "my cup of tea!"

This was cute - was about a woman that tries the "dog handling" theory to keep her man. Was better than that sounds!

this was a good book, interesting, funny, a quick read. it was kind of obvious how things would work out, and OBVIOUSLY every girl in the world already knew the truths imparted by the genius drag queens james and dave. but all around a very nice read.

Very funny, and a take off on an old story. We don't have any trouble figuring out the plot, but that doesn't make it less amusing. This is strictly for laughs. Don't look for any deep messages, or new insights. Enjoy, and pass it on.

Very light, amusing, at times I saw hints of Janet Evanovich.

Yesterday, Liv Elliot had it all: a great flat in Londons Notting Hill, an actual career (okay, as an accountant), and a fiancé with whom she was only weeks away from wedded bliss. Every girls dream, right? But then Tim declared that the wedding was offleaving Liv shell-shocked. Luckily, shes got her best friends fab Australian beach house in which to recuperate.

The restorative powers of the Sydney sun, sand, and sea soon have Liv feeling wonderfully careless, wanton, and reckless. Things really couldnt get any more anti-accountant when she runs into old flame Ben Parker. Its been years since they fooled around on their summer vacation, but Liv never forgot that genetically-blessed face. Raring to help her land beautiful Ben, Livs friends teach her the Rules of Dog Handling: Treat a man like a dog, and hell be eating out of your hand. But surely this cant actually work? Liv is about to find out that it canbut shes hardly prepared for the unexpected results.
