This book is mediocre at best. It has funny parts and some glimmers of whit. The twist with the love triangle is good but it's not until 200 pages in, and the book left me disappointed and wanting more...or maybe less.

One of the worst books I have ever read. The writing style and storyline were so trite. The book was such a disaster and I only finished reading it because I have never abandoned a book, no matter how terrible it is.

Loved this book! The main character cracked me up as she snooped through everyone's stuff while caring for their dogs. She finally meets her match in a man who has his own share of secrets. Great story, and great underlying story about animals and their people.

A fun quick read for dog lovers and fans of chick lit. It's pretty predictable but isn't that what you're looking for in this type of book? How many dog lovers have seen the bad dog parents at the park and wanted to take their dogs away from them? My only problem is the minimal coverage that the romance gets in the end. If I'm going to wait 200 pages for the two to finally live happily ever after it would be great to have a sex scene between the two of them and a 5 years later chapter.
