I enjoyed the book. It is light reading, perfect for me to lounge in my shade garden. I have three dogs and 4 chaise lounges, one for each of us. As an experienced dog owner and former show person, I found the book provided too many non-essential details about the dog world which for me was a distraction from the plot. All it all, it was a pleasant experience and a book worth reading.
This "cozy" will appeal to both dog and mystery lovers. It is a hilarious parody of the GODFATHER and the author's answer to Lilian Jackson Braun's THE CAT WHO series. A very fast and light read. A fun who-done-it!
