Dog lovers go crazy over this book. Great book for little kids.
One of the best of contemporary writers who just enjoy writing and end up in the children's genre for lack of a better place to put them. Dav Pilkey loves his pets, photography, and writing, and has a wonderfully wacky sense of humor. Dogzilla combines them allThe illustrations are delightful combinations of photography and artwork. Just wait till you get to the two page spread of Dogzilla (Pilkey's corgi) bursting out of a volcano.
Silly story for kids with great pictures and little jokes that adults will get. I have read this story to 2 year olds - 10 year olds. All the children I have read this too, have enjoyed the book. Maybe not a great book for a child that is very easily frightned.
i read this book to my 3 year old grandchild and he could not stop laughing at this goofy book. He is now 11 and still won't let me get rid of it.
This is one of the funniest books of all time. I have been reading it to my daughter since she was about 14 months old. I just shorten a few wordy pages.
