Can the characters in a book make you laugh and hug yourself, all at the same time? This one sure did! The gals at the Bottom Dollar are up to something and the town Minister thinks it just might be evil. To say nothing about the scandal Lonnie has started by leaving his wife for a Hollywood Movie Star. And then there's the incident with the Super Soaker...ya just gotta read this. You're going to love it!

Karin Gillespie's Bottom Dollar girls seem to have a lot of problems to be small town girls. A Dollar Short : The Bottom Dollar Girls Go Hollywood is about Chiffon and her husband who have tickets to go to California. Chiffon doesn't get to go, so she is shocked to learn that her husband has left her for a movie star. Chiffon's sister Chenille recently fired from her teaching job comes to help Chiffon with her children. Between the press and the crazy movie star, Chiffon has had enough.
The Bottom Dollar girls are local for me, so I enjoy reading about them. But I think they would appeal to other people who aren't from the area.

Another Southern escapade with the Bottom Dollas Girls that keeps the reader turning pages till the very end. It's great fun to read and I highly recommend it to all who love a lighthearted enjoyable book.
