I had read a couple of his early books and was impressed by this true American Hero. His early experience as a Seal was fascinating. That said, one had to look with a very jaundiced eye as his stories became more outrageous and self aggrandized. I had not read any of these novels after the first couple of autobiographical books, I didn't care for it, it was like a teen aged fantasy with the author as the hero. It would be an OK book, just pretend that the hero is completely fictionalized and you will be OK.
