Gripping story of Joe Pistone posing undercover as Donnie Brasco for 6 years. He penetrated the Mafia deeper than anyone has ever gone as an FBI agent and is considered one of the main reasons for the Mafia's decline in today's world. And yes the book was better than the movie only because there is far more details in the book...This has to be one of the best Mafia books out there.

This is a great book, especially if you like insight into how the mafia works. Donnie Brasco is a special agent who enters the mafia for multiple years to end up being able to convict multiple higher up mafia members. I definitely recommend this book!

This is a very good book. I liked the movie a lot, but you always get so much more detail from reading a book.

It's the story of an FBI agent's years spent undercover in the mafia. Very good read!
