Arlidge has found a formula that works for him, which is good. The bad part is that it is a formula. I'd like to see a book that is different, with Grace as the main character. Arlidge knows his audience, I guess. All in all, a quick and enjoyable (if you enjoy bloody gruesome murders) read.
I love this series, Helen Grace is a complex person and a good cop and Arlidge can write a really good story!

Every book in this series is intense and well done. Good reading! A word of warning, though. This one has a few rough parts concerning wild horses (not too many, thankfully). I'll be looking forward to the next.
