This book works and is easy to follow. No white sugar, white flour, or high fructose corn syrup. Whole grains, lean protein, lots of fiber through fruits and veggies make up the bulk of the foods you eat. A realistic look at the right kinds of carbs. carbs are OK as long as they are slow load complex carbs. He discusses the foods that will help you lose and maintain your weight and those that will add the fat. By just cutting out white flour and sugar I have lost 26 pounds in 3 months! I have never been able to do that before. I feel better and my grocery bill has gone way down becasue we are buying just mainstay healhty foods, not all the processed and extras.
