Yana, a Gypsy artist, is led to Dr. Zastro's Sanitarium in New York City, where the emminent physician uses hypnotic powers and electrical/magnetic machinery in successfully treating his female patients. Yana is anything but submissive for the time period she lives in. The great doctor is non-plussed at her most feminine, yet unladylike behavior and opinionated character. Sparks ignite from their very first encounter. Dr. Phillipe Zostro, once engrossed in his world of science, will never be the same.
